The BISTLAB | Balkan Economy and Finance Laboratory (BEFL), established within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) at the International Balkan University, serves as an academic hub dedicated to applied economic and financial knowledge. Through innovative simulation tools, research collaboration, and experiential learning, BISTLAB offers teachers, students, and professionals an opportunity to bridge theory with practice and foster academic and professional excellence.

The History of BISTLAB

BISTLAB, short for “Borsa Istanbul Simulation Laboratory,” began in Türkiye as a pioneering initiative by Borsa Istanbul to enhance financial literacy and education. Over the years, it has expanded into multiple universities, combining theory and practice through state-of-the-art simulation and training environments. Today, it proudly operates at the International Balkan University in Skopje, North Macedonia, continuing its mission of bridging academic knowledge with real-world applications.
