On November 18, 2025, the BISTLAB | Balkan Economy and Finance Laboratory at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (IBU), in partnership with the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, successfully organized the event titled “Transforming Financial Transactions, Enriching Lives.” Distinguished experts from the Group of Financial Institutions, Mrs. Biljana Misik, Chief Executive Officer of Iute Macedonia; Mr. Teodor Todorovski, General Manager of P2P; and Mr. George Rukov, Managing Partner at Credissimo, delivered a professional and practice-oriented, insightful presentation, discussing how emerging financial technologies are reshaping modern transactions, improving efficiency, and expanding financial inclusion. Their expertise offered students a practical understanding of digital financial solutions, peer-to-peer lending models, and innovative approaches to consumer finance. Asst.Prof. Ahmet Lokce, Vice Rector of IBU, formally opened the event and Assoc. Prof. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Dean of FEAS, delivered welcome remarks. The event, moderated by Asst. Prof. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska underscored the University’s ongoing commitment to strengthening financial literacy and connecting students with real-sector knowledge and professional perspectives.
