On 24 December, BISTLAB| Balkan Economy and Finance Laboratory, within the framework of the Investments and Investment Banking courses, organized the Virtual Trading Competition under the guidance of Asst Prof. Dr. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoeska, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andrijana Bojadzieva Danevska and Asst. Diellza Bilalli.
Throughout the semester, third and fourth-year students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences actively engaged in simulated trading activities using the Virtual Macedonian Stock Exchange platform. As part of the competition, a group of pre-selected students presented their investment portfolios and explained the strategies behind their investment decisions.
During the event, Vice Rector Prof. Ahmet Lokce emphasized the significance of knowledge-based simulations and experiential learning in strengthening students’ practical competencies in finance and capital markets. Furthermore, Dean Assoc. Prof. Liza Alili Sulejmani, together with the representative of the Macedonian Stock Exchange, Mr. Mihail Vasilevski, awarded Certificates of Appreciation to all participants in recognition of their dedication, academic engagement, and outstanding performance.
Special awards were also presented to the top three performing students.
