BISTLAB | Balkan Economy and Finance Laboratory (FEAS), in collaboration with WVP Fund Management AD Skopje, organized an engaging and practice-oriented event on 24 February 2026, titled:
“Innovations in Asset Management: Experience of WVP Fund Management.”
The event focused on the role of investment funds in capital markets, risk-return assessment indicators, and innovative asset management practices. The keynote lecture was delivered by Mrs. Andrijana Popovska, Executive Director of WVP Fund Management, who shared insights into contemporary strategies and market developments.
The event was opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska, Coordinator of BISTLAB, followed by Mr. Vladimir Despotoski, Member of the Supervisory Board of WVP Pension Company AD Skopje, who presented internship, incubator, and investment opportunities for FEAS students. The presence of the Vice Rector, Asst. Prof. Ahmet Lokce, and the Dean of FEAS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani reaffirmed IBU’s commitment to strengthening university-industry cooperation.
The Dean concluded the event by awarding a Certificate of Appreciation to the representatives of WVP Fund Management and underscored the significance of fostering a constructive linkage between theoretical academic knowledge and the practical expertise derived from real-world capital market operations.
